Has anyone had to replace the front axle pinion seal on there aam axle?
is so how hard is it? is the aam a crush collar or shim setup axle?.
after a 1500 mile trip it has develpoed a small but annoying leak.
Mine is also leaking (64K miles). Called the dealer, said it was out of warranty, wanted $195 to replace it. Guess I will do this myself, just have to get a puller.
dudes I did this myself...there is a crush collar so pre measure your torque and add 5-10 pounds when you reassemble and you should be good...have a puller there for the yoke...its quite easy..the worst thing is getting the Flogging torx head bolts out to separate the drive shaft..I replaced them with hex head nuts..wayyy better...just dont leave it too looarty018:se or it will be noisy...good luck
