Hi guys,
My 16 year old son decided he wants to restore my old truck! :smile2:
I bought it new, and it served me well for quite a few years but it's just been sitting for the last Three years.
Needs some freshening up, sooooo... We (mostly he) gutted the interior and will be ordering a bunch of stuff from lmc today starting with
carpet kit, dash, drivers door window motor/regulator, and all the guts for the heater as long as we're already there and will have access to it.
The cloth seats are all in excellent condition due to having been protected by the heavy duty seat cover I got when truck was new.
Except for the drivers seat, of course!
So my first question is, anybody know where we can find the original fabric so we can get that seat redone?
Second question is about the headliner, which is completely shot.
At first glance, it appears OEM is out of the question. Anybody here have experience with the plastic ones they sell? Opinions?
Thanks
Dave

Richmond auto upholstery i believe has the covers...genos has the foam.

And headliner is available at most upholstery shops.

One thing you want to check for sure is the front calipers. If they have been sitting for a while and rusted they might not let go all the way after brakes are applied...gets hot enough to warp rotors. I know from experience unfortunately. FYI...
