Ok I just did a trans swap from auto to a nv5600. The engine has stock injectors with a zero plate and a hx40 hybrid. The truck pulls like a tank I'm just trying to tune it some to get the egts down some and make it more efficient with power. Any ideas

Do a search for afc tuning. That can make or break your setup.

X2 on the AFC tuning. Also, check for boost leaks because that turbo should be pretty efficient with stock injectors. Any other pump work done?

X3 on afc tuning, also whats your timing at? if its stock try bumping a couple *'s, should lower egt's and improve mileage

Thanks and the started wheel it turned all the way towards the front been that way for some time now. Other than that the pump is stock.

How much does it smoke? Turbo in good condition? shaft play?

It smokes pretty good and turbo is good no shaft play. I'm wanting a true hx40

Try turning the starwheel to tighten the afc up, check for boost leaks and bump the timing up a bit.

Ok so back the star wheel off some? Turn it away from the engine. Cause it's turned all the way towards the engine

I thought it was all the way loose. Try a stiffer spring if it is all the way toward the engine.

No it's turned all the way up.

You could try stretching your stock spring or looking for a gov spring to put in there.
