So the other day i started my truck up and went down the road when i came back i shut off the truck to remove my cb radio after doing so i went to start it again except all it did was crank then sometimes it would crank sorta start and run for a few seconds. I think it could be a lift pump problem but not sure because the fuel shut off silinoid apears to be working corectly but i cant seam to get any fuel to the injector pump or injectors. What should i test?

i dont think so i checked in the fuel tank the diesel is clear except for some small yellow residue in it?

The gelling would collect in the filters. either wait for it to warm up, or put a small space heater under the hood.

The temperature here has been in the 70s thats not the problem.

Assuming the FSS is working correctly.

Find out why fuel isn't getting to the injector pump. Try opening the bleed bolt and pumping the primer.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if not you may want to pick one up, it will help diagnose fuel related problems
