All the time or just sometimes? Reverse is not a synchro gear.
94 Dodge 2500 4x4 5 spd trans problems
I am having a very hard time getting my 5 spd in reverse!! What does that sound like the problem is? Thanks

leave your clutch in for a little while before you try throwin her into reverse

need more info. does it grind? if so it probably needs the synchro replaced. if not, that's puzzling. could be the clutch not completely disengaging but then it would act the same way in the forward gears.

the nv4500 is synchroed in all gears jus figured i tell ya ur shift tower could be worn ur trans could be haven issues also u wont no till u rip it apart
