well to tell you the truth, I bought one for cheap from our county shop but then i got offered quite a bit for it so I sold it cuz I made quite a bit of money off it so now I'm gonna build one, it would be the cheapest way. I got the part number off the stack before i sold it, but i forgot to get all the measurements and angles:doh: I do have some pics of it though so hopefully i can look at the pics and build the 8" stack alright. here is some pics of the stack i had before i sold it, it wasn't hooked up, i just had it sittin on a bucket to see what it'd look like.

the piece on the left is a piece of 8" stovepipe i found in my basement that I was gonna put on the bottom to make it 8" from the bottom of the bed up, but if i build one, i will make it longer. Now i'm just tryin to find some 8" exhaust pipe, anyone know where to get some???

yeah price one for us if you can, i have a part number if you need it. I'd like to know what they cost new? Ha ha we have an old 80's Cat loader on the farm and I noticed today that it has a CAT stack too, its only a mini one, like a 3 or 4 incher but its got the same design as the new ones, I'll have to post a pic of it sometime.

okay what was the part number for the cheaper 8" one? The 8" stack I had was off a 966H CAT loader and the part number was 244-1047 J6, Could you check on that number for me please? The one you said was $190, do you know what kind of equipment that stack was for? And do you know how long or tall that stack was? the one i had fit just right and it was off that 966 loader so If that one for $190 is the same size I will probably try and get it. Thanks man.

Don't know if this the right place but here it goes. Just bought a 08 2500 6.7. Truck has awsome power I know of all the issues this design has had in the past. The truck had 8k and was a lemon buy back cause of the soot burn off issue the previous owner had. The dealer replaced the turbo and has done all the up graded flashes to the computer etc etc. The dreason i bought thetruckis that we got a fantastic deal on basically a new truck with a 84 month warrante and 7 yrs of free oil changes. And it still quallifies for the lemon buy back issue if the problems aren't resolved. So far so good with the truck. My question is Does the regen of the dpf happen automatically? I will be driving this truck mostly on the freeway and the out back in Nevada and will be towing a toy hauler. Will delete kits void my warrante? The deal on the truck was too good to pass up. Time will tell I guess. Thanks!
Don
