Well, you're going to need the diesel tranny. Why not swap to an NV4500 or Getrag?

A gasser tranny won't hold up the the torque of the Cummins. Especially after you turn it up.

What Chevy trans are you talking about? I can't see any gasser tranny working on a diesel application.

the diesels have way more torque...stock much less turned upeelout and you know you're going to want to!
