So, I'm new here. I have an 89 Power Ram W-250 with a 5.9 Cummins. I'll be driving soon and I'm fixing it up a little right now. I was was wondering if stacks would be a better option than regular exhaust for power. I dig the looks too. But it seems like they would be better cause the exhaust would be getting faster. Am I correct?

It depends if you want to cut holes in your bed. A 4" exhaust with no muffler or a open center muffler will do fine.

Honestly a 4" exhaust is fine, just straight pipe it and run.

On the other hand, if you don't mind a hole in your bed, stacks ARE pretty cool looking, and can be done pretty cheaply, but dont forget the 4" downpipe while you're at it!
