Is it possible to get 800hp with little to no smoke at wot if so which turbos would clean it up?
ya, doubt it could happen in a 12V...that would be like getting laid without paying for dinner. doesnt work.

No smoke at WOT is easy enough, just make sure to have 181 delivery valves, high timing, quality injectors made to work with the timing, and air for 1000hp

Why does everyone think it will be so hard?

Hmm...it would be kinda tough for a totally smokeless 12V putting out 800rwhp. at that kinda power levels you are going to have some good size turbos...and spooling those will take some serious fuel. So you most likely will see some smoke then but I think it could be manageable...I am not a big smoke guy either.

Ahh, but re-read his post

Even moderate smoke on spool up could be obtained on #2 only with a well tuned AFC. I don't see why with a little giggle gas you couldn't make a smokeless (maybe a little haze) 800hp. You just need the truck to be "out" of fuel before it runs out of air

Yeah laughing gas would definately go a long way on smoke control:thumbsup

the 12V is the equivilant to the "smoking man" on X-Files...both are high powered in there own right...but each scene involves smoke.

Mind if i ask why you don't want smoke? price of fuel? or just don't want it? personally i find it funny when you roll smoke and a cars auto headlights come on cuz of it, or the stupid bikers that stay 3 wide in a 2 lane road and then smoke them out.

I don't want smoke because it gives diesels a bad name and if people don't respect diesels because of drivers always blowing smoke its not going to help inspire people to aid in the advancement of our technology.
And the extra fuel is hot, wasteful, and dangerous when used inappropriately

I also find smoking without cause to be petty and childish
