Will a 40x13.5x17in tire be to much for a 17x8.5in wheel to handle? Any issues with loosing a bead when running hard down low?

Looking into going with 40s over a 37x12.5, I have a plasma torch and will be cutting up the fenders instead of getting glass. I really like the stock profile but just "enhanced".

Anyone with similar thoughts?

I feel that this is too wide for the wheel and I doubt any tire manufacture would disagree with me. It sounds unsafe and I hope you don't do it.
