7x10 injector fueling concern.

just installed 7x10 injectors, cant make more than 35lbs of boost. egts never get above 1050. fuel pressure never dips below 15 psi. doesnt smoke at all past 10lbs of boost. have tried smarty on every level possible. still running hx35 till manifold gets here. vp pump was remaned 2 years ago, has nearly 30k since installed. am i missing something here. :confused013:

Yep. I installed 125 HP injectors and thought wtf. Not much more smoke. Turbo lit instantly. Not a real power differance. Put a smarty on my edge did a lil tuning and it runs like a raped ape now...it idles so much smoother now with ddp's. My stockers were shot.

Thats what I was doing on my hx35 with my box on or off. Box off sounds bout the same as that in egt range. Box on I only pegged 1400* once. I dont understand what the problem is... are you saying you want more boost out of your hx?
i have a 63/68/.80 to go on soon. the builder of the injectors claims i can make 550 on 7x10's with smarty and so pump. im not trying to make more boost on the hx, just figured any injector capable of 550 would for sure over fuel a factory turbo.
MAYBE 550 at the flywheel. With a smarty you wont touch that number. I dont even think im there yet. I have everything in my sig..
Stock 235, smarty 90, injectors 150. Thats only 475 at the motor. No pwertrain loss yet...

they fed you a line. don't expect more than 500hp without a wire tap and right turbo/turbos. the results you are seeing are normal for not having a wire tap.
sounds like i shoulda stuck to my feelings and bought ddp 200's. or p pumped before i sold all my stock up for the conversion

^^agreed. I even have a wire tap box and dont feel like its 500...

and had a hot smokey injector. much better builders out there than ddp. :thumbsup:
I hate my edge. I got my tst though... just gota hook it up.

I like my cpps. I had ddp 75s that put out as much smoke as my new cpps...

trust me i understand. :doh: :hehe: get that tst on!
IM TRYIN trust me!! It took 3days to find the tamper proof bit to hook up my stealth plate.
