Im going to swap my 727 for an a518 for better mpg and lower rpms and was wondering if the gas a518 and the diesel a518s used the same rebuild kits and clutches with just different converters or what? Any help is appreciated, thanks

Also would you all recomend rebuilding yourself or paying a trans shop to do the rebuild

Okay thanks. Also do i just need to use a 12v source such as a toggle switch for overdrive
