For those of you with '19 trucks, are your passenger seats shaking at freeway speeds? Or did Ram fix the issue they did not admit they had?

I had a '15 Mega that was TERRIBLE, and my '17 CCSB has the vibe from time to time. More often than not. Only reason I may upgrade is to ditch the vibe and go back to a Megacab.

I guess I was a lucky since I never had that issue with my 2015. I can report that my 2019 SRW 3500 has been smooth as silk so far as well. I just came off of a 1800 mile road trip and no vibes at all.

I really hope we can get lots of responses on this thread. Those of us with 4th gens really need this info as data. I believe the fact that they added (2) vibration dampeners to the frames of the 5th gens is an acknowledgement of the issue, but did it work? I am really hoping someone with a 2019 dually will pipe in....

I have a 2019 srw 3500 with about 1000 miles on it with no vibration whatsoever. I had a little vibration in a 2017 before this and a lot of vibration in a 2015 dually before that.

My 16 SRW crew 3500 and 18 2500 mega were 100% smooth
My new 19 3500 mega srw shakes like crazy. Passenger seat looks like it’s loose
Kids car seats in the back make all kinds of noise from shaking. 1200km total
And the aisin trans tuning is terrible compared to my 16

my '19 is smooth as butter.. my buddy's '17 just got out of the shop ( mega limited dually ) that he's been fighting that
cyclical noise and vibe. they ended up replacing his rear axle, tq converter, trans mount, shocks, and driveshaft. all of
that got rid of 80% of the issue...

This is the first I have heard of. Ho was out more details?

What speeds?
Road conditions?
Loaded or unloaded?
Stock tires?
Stock suspension?
What do you mean by the Aisin is terrible? Mine is too quick to downshift o downhills without a load but I surely wouldn’t call it terrible.

Truck has 1” coil spacer in the front and 1” block in the back. Nitto ridge grappler 285/75r18 went on before it left the dealership.
Vibration starts at 95km and by 110 is full on shaking. I have another set of factory 18” from my 16 3500 that never had a problem on it or my 18 2500 mega. I will give them a try first before I check anything else.
The aisin on my 16 was always in the right gear. The 68rfe in the 2500 was always upshifting too soon. The new 19 aisin is somewhere in between. Sometimes when I’m accelerating it doesn’t upshift with any symmetry. It’s all over the place. But it is quite and pulls like a moth€|^|*|*|*£||.

It's been a while, thought I'd bump this thread now that there are a lot of units on the road.

I'm considering swapping trucks before the end of the year, but am wary of a dealer trade to get what I want. I don't want a third shaking Ram.

Any more feedback?

My 19 is smooth like I'm driving on glass. Does not vibrate. The passenger seat has a very minor, and I mean minor, movement on the highway. Less than any vehicle I have driven, and not enough to be considered an issue. I would consider it natural for any vehicle rolling down a paved road to have some type of harmonic vibration. To see the top of the passenger seat move, I have to take my eye off the road and stare at the seat to notice it. Can't hear of feel it any other way. My guess is the new frame dampeners are doing their job. RAM got this one right.

By the way the only reason I actually checked for this, is because my 2013 RAM's passenger seat would vibrate enough at 70MPH to cause me to take my eye off the road, to see what is vibrating enough to distract me. I would have to adjust the vertical position of the passenger seat to minimize the issue.
