Must be your main regulator valve is sticking CLOSED, although that's not anything I've ever seen happen before. Also I have no clue why shifting out of Drive would unstick it. Time for a new pump assy?

Well... I completely removed h&s and returned to stock. Now the line pressure only freezes at 75 and 80 but can drive around town all day long with no problems.... The pump assembly should鈥檝e been replaced when he rebuilt the tranny. Correct?

Not necessarily, you only replace defective hard parts.....often they modify the pumps but won't know unless you ask the re-builder.

Wait, you said a manual gauge was reading 350-400 psi, correct? There is no way changing the programming should "fix" that.

Were you referring to a mechanical gauge connected to the line pressure port (using a tee fitting that allows the line pressure sensor to remain connected)?

When you say your line pressure now "freezes" at 75-80 psi, are you referring to the LP sensor reading, as displayed on a scan tool, or are you still using a mechanical gauge? Do you have any fault codes being set? Setting a code will often "freeze" the line pressure reading that's displayed on a scan tool.

Sorry meant 75 and 80mph! My bad... but it always freezes at the max the line pressure is set too according to lp sensor! And the tranny builder said he was watching programmer and a manual gauge. I don鈥檛 have a manual gauge yet been looking for a good one. And no fault codes.. 馃く馃お
