2011 3500 dually with 240k on the odo. Just deleted with a smarty ME tune (for racing of course) just a simple set up. Hopped on it today to show the pops powerstroke what’s up and it didn’t wanna come out of first. It went into 2nd when I let off but it kinda made ny heart jump up to my throat real quick because I had plenty of trans problems in my 03 cummins and then had an 02 6 speed so I’m a little insecure getting back into another auto. Anyone know what’s up! Did research and couldn’t find the same situation maybe I’m not looking hard enough.

Just doesn’t like to shift on WOT.
Case closed. Don’t do it again. <img src="http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/images/smilies/Thumbup19[1].gif" border="0" alt="" title="ThumbUp" class="inlineimg" /> <img src="http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/images/CumminsForum_2016/smilies/tango_face_grin.png" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />
Hahaha yeah true but my main concern is what’s causing it and will it get worse

Your right foot at WOT is causing it.
That trans by the look of the mileage is no spring chicken either. Stock to boot. Don’t compare the 68 to your dads, that’s for sure.

Ah. Now I’m following.

What’s specifically going on in your transmission is what you’re wondering. Which specific ‘link’ along the chain is failing.

That’s going to be difficult to answer. It could be any of the many dozens of pieces inside or it could be programming. It’s going to be hard to give you the exact answer you seek without some actual concrete data (plugging into your truck and having you replicate the issue again and again, which I doubt you’ll want to do..)
