Having the same issue on my 1 week old truck (bought it new). Hard, noisy, jerking, downshift from 4-3 most notably. Taking it in later this week to have the "relearn" done.

68 RFE removal for inspection
Has anyone had the tranny removed and inspected for the hard shift when you take your foot off the accelerator? Trying to see what the outcome could be. Star case was opened and had one relearn done so far. Any input would be appreciated never had a new truck with 6k miles have to get the tranny removed and inspected.

I'll have to check it out tomorrow. Thanks!Has either of yor trucks had the "PCM update" done? I just got my new '13 68rfe truck on Saturday, April 2013 build, and there is a sticker under the hood that the PCM was updated (while sitting on the lot for sale) in July.
