How do I tell which series motor I have? The years seem to overlap.

How do I know if it's the 47 or 48 tranny?

It's storming here I'll have to look tommorrow.

What's the best flowing manifold intake?

I see alot of people like the CFM+ and the Banks high ram looks pretty good on paper.

If you have an 06 you have a 48re and a 610 motor. Cummins was bumped up to 610ft-lbs to stay ahead of the 605ft-lbs of the LLY Duramax:thumbsup

610 came out for the 05 model. 48RE came out in mid 2003 model. Any HO CR had a 48RE.

2003 S.O. Calif. Emissions: 235HP/460lb.ft. Available with NV4500 or 47RE
2003 H.O. Federal Emissions: 305HP/555lb.ft. Only available with NV5600
2003.5 The 47RE was replaced by the 48RE automatic transmission and available with the H.O.

2004 S.O. Calif. Emissions: 235HP/460lb.ft. Available with NV4500 or 48RE
2004 H.O. Federal Emissions: 305HP/555lb.ft. Available with either NV5600 or 48RE

2004.5 (50 state legal) 325HP/600lb.ft. Available with either the 48RE or NV5600

2005 (50 state legal) 325HP/610lb.ft. Available with either the 48RE or NV5600

the difference in ft/lbs isnt much but consider this
305/555 motors generally produce 255-265 rwhp
325/610 motors produce 275-295 rwhp
and the latter motors can handle hotter egts, make more boost, have more efficient flowing ports and chambers which translates to more power with the same parts, and have the better fuel pump setup. oh also they 325 have 4 inch downpipe but 305 only has 3.5 "
just an fyi if a bigger hp is your ultimate goal.

Just ordered the Quadzilla boost fooler. Should be here about the same time as the intake.

Looking at the Smarty Jr and CFM+. Decided to leave the exhaust stock for a while, don't want the noise.

How's the combo sounding so far:

S&B stage II intake
Quadzilla boost fooler
CFM+ black intake
Smarty Jr

???

Does anyone have a pic of the Attitude mounted in the Dodge? I found one mounted in a Ford but not anything yet on the Ram.

I don't like the pillar gauges and read somewhere that Banks had a setup that would go below the radio.
