No, rebuilds from the only guy in town that will do it. He just ended up making me buy a new chrystler 48RE tranny last friday.

what good is that gonna do...you mine as well get one from a salvage yard.....first you have to use good parts, 2nd you have to learn how to follow break-in procedures,3rd the guy building them isn`t totally to blame...granted he is probably tired of doing work for the kid but @ the same time if he is gonna keep destroying tranny`s then i would take his money too.... there is more to the story than what we are hearing..... maybe he (christman) is on a budget & not wanting to spend top dollar 4 the right parts.... maybe he thinks its a "cool thing" to have stock rebuilt trannies going out on him left & right so he can tell everyone how"bad" his truck is that he cant keep a tranny in it...... who knows but we really haven`t heard the whole story here ...just my .02

well well well. trash talk...its not trash talk...its called reality... & now we have a little more info. regarding why they broke...but i dont know why one would be ok with not knowing what went wrong with the other trannies that he wouldn`t tell you what happened..... i hope he was fixing these things for next to nothing... BTW back to the trash talking...yeah your learning a tough lesson right now... its called "you wanna play ..sooner or later your gonna pay" everybody goes through it...
