800-1000ft/lb of torque will do that if you drive like a maniac. I would not blame the trans or the builder. Well, I blame the builder for not recommending you build it with parts that can handle the abuse but I blame the driver for that too.....

What exactly is breaking in your trannys? Is it the same thing everytime? Something different each time? Give some more details if you have them....
