I put a 6" superlift on my truck and I'm getting a driveshaft related noise (I think) :confused013: My question is, am I the only one with this noise and this much lift?

Did you install the drop bracket for the trans? Do you have a 2 piece rear drive line? If so, did you shim the carrier bearing down. You wont need a new front shaft but maybe a index ring from Spirson.

Well he has a mega cab so its a two piece rear drive line so he should of got a shim for it. And make sure you put the rear blocks in right since there angeld for the rear drive line. Just turn your axle up and you should be fine.

I have a one piece rear driveshaft. And I'm trying to get 4wheelparts to tell me if there was a transmisssion drop bracket installed. I compared it to the one on my 4500, and they look pretty much the same?!? I'll wait for a call from them to confirm.

Oden,
I have a 6" lift and was getting a noise/vibration at hwy speed. The rubber boot that covers the splines was tight and not allowing the drive shaft to extend freeley.
I had the local drive shaft extend the shaft 1 1/2 inches, that did the trick.
