Inspection should (I'm really not up to date on all states, but I know the what/whys/hows of the regulations behind them) only be concerned with if you have a code dealing with the exhaust treatment system. Most of the time, it would be an O2 sensor code (which the XRT turns the O2 sensors off anyways, so it shouldn't be an issue). Also, since the XRT turns off the EGR, I have yet to hear of an EGR related code popping up. I don't even know if the inspection centers are up to date on checking for EGR codes? Either way, you should be fine. Where I live, there are emissions tests (due to Ozone Non-Attainment) but most shops don't even have the proper code scanners to check for codes. There are even less reputable shops that will ignore a CEL for a few extra dollars....
