I am currently researching installing a 6” superlift on my truck. I was wondering about transfer case indexing and if it is necessary. I have an auto truck and accruing to superlift, indexing is for manual. I also have a Mopar 1 piece rear driveshaft and was wondering if the length would be okay with the 6” lift. What about the front driveshaft length with a 6” lift? Thanks!

you should be okay with the rear driveline as it's longer then a short bed qc. typically 6" is the max you can go without needing to index t case. some trucks do it well, some hate it. generally speaking you don't index till 8"

what are you using truck for??
For a mall queen not so big a deal, for truck that hauls/tows and or off road use, and a minimum 600 ft/lbs of torque, need to look at engine tuning, trans, gears, t-case, d-shaft angles, like 4everlearning pointed out.

IMO. should limit to 4 " otherwise truck is going to be pretty well useless for towing/hauling without some very expensive add on drivetrain mods with just "Superlift"
