My 04.5 only take 11 quarts. Is there really 3plus the hot shots with the amsoil add on?

its a 12 qt system, the amsoil filter setup takes about 1.5 qts

My first oil change i did 12 quarts per the manual and had to drain a quart to bring it within the dipstick. Also, wouldnt have thought the amsoil thing was 1.5 quarts.

Does your truck have a leveling kit on it? If so that will change oil level on dipstick.

It does but it hasnt affecting the trans fluid level nor has it changed anything on any other vehicle i have leveled before.
