No its actually 4 quarts, I just did mine couple months ago. Also be very cafeful what you put in there. The wrong fluid can wreck havoc on the syncro's. Good luck with it.
Run only Castrol Snytorg LT. Dont be cheap and pay the $25 a bottle for it. It takes 4 quarts, and a little extra doesnt hurt but youll have to pour it in from the shift tower.
If you dont use the right stuff it wont shift properly and will usually eat the syncros, bearings and gears. Ive seen some oil burn up to a tar like substance causing the tranny to run dry.
The link I posted is for a NV4500 manual. That link is for an auto to manual conversion and the oil is what you need for the new manual tranny. :thumbsup
Haven't I read that some people add an extra quart or something to these things? To keep one of the gears lubed better or something like that. Maybe I'm completely wrong or maybe a different tranny.
