I am currently getting ready to order a new 2500 crew cab 6.7. The reason I am making the switch from my 07 1500 sport is that i live in a remote area in canada (600 km of gravel road outta here) and my extended warrenty is up on my truck, so far I have completely redone the front end three times, 9 sets of front struts, 2 sets of rear shocks, three complete sets of tires, 2 rack and pinions, all steering shafts twice, transfer case motor and many other warrenty jobs . My buddies recently got a 06 3500 trx4 quad cab 5.9 manual ( intake,exhaust,clutch,6 inch lift and bully dog programmer) the other picked up a 06 mega cab laramie 50k on her ( intake ,exhaust, clutch, six inch lift, 3 inch body, amp steps, fox shocks, programmer) and these trucks can rip. the torque is insane so addicting... in saying all of this I am making the jump to a 2500 for the solid front end and alot tougher but i am wondering what the torque would be like between the 6.7 and their 5.9's i am planning on doing the deletes , programmer, intake, exhaust, espar type heater(typical -50 temps in winter), 16,500 winch, amp steps,35 inch tires and a few other goodies. what is the pull like in the 6.7 compared to the 5.9?????

Once you do delete's and put a tuner on it, you can probably kiss your warranty goodbye. Unless your dealership is mod friendly. Just throwing it out there so your not surprised if they flag your truck the first time you bring it in for service.
You will want to look into some sort of trans tune as well if you plan on using the extra power from your tuner to play with your 5.9 buddies. The 68RFE is a good trans if your nice to it but doesn't hold up too well with extra power and a heavy right foot.
Don't take this the wrong way though, the 6.7 is a great engine and the new Ram's are top notch trucks. Just don't expect it to be bullet proof once modded unless you take a few precautions.
