Does anyone here know the output shaft spline count for a 4x4 G-56? None of the tranny shops here have a clue. :banghead:

my guess is 29 since the gas ones are 23
the options on the new ones when I quoted them for Jeep conversions a few years back were 23 and 29 spline I will call my supplier and confirm this for you
what year trans are we talking about? I am not sure if it matters or not

according to my supplier he said the gas and Diesel manual transmissions all have been 29 spline in the later years

Thanks for the reply Jeepstang. The G-56 came in these trucks starting in 07, so I guess anything from then to now is what I'm talking about.
