Hey Guys.... my friend just bought a 2006 Ram 2500 4x4 with a 5.9... I converted him to diesel finally...

Does the 48RE that comes with these trucks have a port for trans temp, or am I goona have get him an upgraded trans pan, with a port for it...???

Thank guys. That helps... since I have a 6.7 I was not sure what crossed over between the two versions.

There is a 1/16" npt port on the passenger side of the trans he can use, or get a 1/2 swedgelock T to put the sensor in the hot trans line.
