i'm wondering when the 48re auto replaced the 47re. i thought it was in early 04 but before 04.5 but i'm not sure and im looking at a built trans out of an 03 to put in my early 04. i'm pretty sure mine is a 48re. any help on when they changed and/or how to identify them would be very helpful.
