With my spare trans being built in the next month I’ve been trying to find any info related to wiring for a FMVB, I’ve read through multiple threads and it’s all related to tying in 12v ignition power and adding the ground switches for TCC and OD but one thread mentioned something along the lines of needing to wire in a reverse light switch and grounding out the NSS. Isn’t this only necessary for manual to auto conversions?

I can’t get a straight forward answer whenever I read some of the threads related to FMVB but do I need to ground the NSS and make the reverse lights a switch since I’m going to a FMVB? I don’t think I need to because the truck is originally an auto
