Iv got a quick question. With the few things in my sig Im getting around 43 PSI of boost. Do you think I could get moore by adjusting my wast gate or blocking it off? Or do I just need more fuel?:confused013: I would like to get it to around the 45-47 PSI range. What are your thoughts? TIA

If possible moniter your intake air temps and turbine drive pressure. Make sure your not defeting the purpose. More boost does not always mean more HP.
I have an extra port for drive preshur in my header. Im hoping to check it soon:thumbsup:

:ditto: but a pretty good way to estimate if you don't have those gauges is what are your egt's doing at 43 psi? are they raging 1400 degrees or are they pretty cool with not much if any smoke at all? No smoke = good efficiency, crank up the wastegate and see what happens.
With my new header I really have to try to get my EGT's up to & past 1300-1350* Smoke:confused013: I have only really pushed it at night since the new header but it used to clean up pretty good @ the higher boost range.

you have studs and rings yet?
Nope:banghead: thats why I want to keep it below 50 PSI but still want to up in a little bit. Another 2-5 PSI I think should be ok. But who knows I could be wrong.

Im getting my boost reading from the intake horn. & I was thinking of just pulling off the wastgate line & caping it.

say good bye to your head gasket.
We will see. I know plenty of people running around 45-47 PSI on the stock head gasket with no problems but who knows I guess Ill find out sooner or later:confused013:

if you running ur stock hx35 charger id keep it where your at untill u upgrade it..anything over 37 - 38 psi is just wasted boost.. and that head gasket will not like it at all.
Look in the sig Im running a Garrett GT3788R BB turbo

Try tying the wastegate line to the intake elbow, i mean, that is where you are reading the boost right? You are probably loosing a few lbs. across the intercooler. That is what I did on dads pickup.

where I changed the fitting for appearance sake on the elbow.
I see you have the same turbo as me. What kind of boost are you running?

:confused013: I dono just want it i guess. And it may just free up a few more ponys. Or I just want to push it till the head gasket goes:S: So I have an excuse to pull the head for O-Rings, Studds & maby some port & polish work:drool2:
