Just picked up a wrecked 99 cummins 4 wheel drive. Looking to transplant it into something else, but possible 2 wheel drive. The truck is a 5 speed, what is involved with converting the 5 speed to 2 wheel drive? change the tailshaft? or is there more to it..thanks

You have to change the mainshaft, and the tail housing.
