I plan on taking my truck to the 1/4 mile drags next weekend and was planning on launching the truck boosted in 4 wheel drive. The truck is not lifted and the drivetrain is stock besides the trany and flexplate, the tires are 285wide mud terrain. Wondering if this is safe and also if i should leave the truck in 4X4 the whole pass or switch it into 2X4 half way down the track for less drag. Was also wondering what would be an expected time with my mods, the truck is a QC SB. Thanks for any feedback

If your trans is up to the task, you can launch around 15psi in 4x4. You can leave the truck in 4x4 the length of the track, just pop it out before turning off onto the return lane. I slide mine out of 4x4 as I'm going down the track, but I doubt that it disengages.
Just a guess on you ET, high 14's - low 15's.

the transfer case won't disengage 4x4 untill you let out of the throttle. then sometimes it'll still stay engaged even after youve let all out and come to a complete stop.

Sounds like a accident waiting to happen, if your truck is stock. Good Luck tho!

I'd leave the line around 2000 RPM's and hold on. I'd agree w BBRAM's times.

Will do, thanks for the comments. I want to have the truck into the 13s but based on this feedback iam thinking that might take injectors and an upgraded CP3
