3rd gen mirrors and door handles

Hey yall, was curious if factory mirrors and door handles on a 3rd gen can be painted and made smooth to match my paint. if so whats the process?

remove the pieces and take them to your local paint shop. Do a search for painted mirrors and you will see plenty of pics
