I read that the second gen trucks are better off with a mechanical fuel pressure gauge. What about us Third gen guys? I'm about to buy a set of pricol gauges and wanna know whether I should get the electric or mechanical. Should 30 PSI be ok also? Would I have to have extensive work done to the truck to get my use out of a 60 PSI guage? Thanks

I prefer the electric fp gauge. 30# will be fine in most applications but not all.
I run a 100# and see 50-60psi @ WOT.

the third gen has vibration in them also and tear up most electric. use a snubber and a 6' oil sending gauge kit line on either the electric or mechanical

As for vibration, just don't mount the sender to the engine. I have been running an electric fp gauge for years with zero issues.
