Ok so how much is too much before I should have to worry about head studs and maybe a fire ring. I had my van akens turned up half way and I say 40 psi out of it? 40 shouldn't hurt but what will?
Thats what I like to hear. So as long as I have the stock turbo I am good. You won't need rings on a 3rd gen. and your turbo will give up before you need studs.
Yep, Some have run over 60lbs with the stock head bolts. :thumbsupThats what I like to hear. So as long as I have the stock turbo I am good.
Oh my no. Man I know mine is not a fan of the 45psi runs I go on from time to time.the stock turbo doesnt like to go over 50psi too much![]()
Are you having problems with rail-pressure? With 90hp sticks you should opt for a good single CP3. There are guys on here with the stock CP3 running the same size sticks you have and dont have RP problems. I think you would be fine with a stage 2 or 3 single CP3 pump. And its about a fraction of the cost compared to dual cp3's.I saw almost 50lbs on my stock charger before i upgraded to my silver bullet. at the time i was running my smarty on sw7 and the tst on 2x2.. now with my new set up and studs ive seen 52 lbs but i did put a set of arp studs.. if i was to put dual cp3s on it what kinda boost #'s do u think i would see?
How big are the plans? I mean a good single pump can support into the 700s. Some more some less. I just don't want to see ya drop 4000 on duals and not really get anything out of them that a good single couldn't do for you. I mean I love helping people spend their money:T:, but I wanna seem them get something outta the parts.:thumbsupYeah i am having problem with the rail pressure now that i put the TNT tune on the smarty.. only reason i wanted to put dual cp3's on it was i had some big plans for in the future for it..
