37's definitely won't fit on a 2nd gen at stock height. You can make it work with a stock spec wheel and about 3" in the front with a slightly longer control arm. You will get slight rubbing on the control arms. Shoot me a PM if you have anymore questions...

The brand of tire will make a difference as well. A Toyo 37" is a true 37", where as a BF Goodrich 37" is actually 36.3". Not a huge difference in overall size, but will make big difference in fitment.

Richard

A Toyo doesn't actually measure out to a true 37" either. The over all diameter of a tire will also grossly depend on the width of rim on which it is mounted. The big difference between a Toyo and a BFG will be the width as the 37" BFG is only 12.5" and the Toyo is 13.5" wide...the BFG also and has a much smaller tread width. As previously mentioned rim width and backspacing is the most critical with low lift heights and large tires on a Dodge truck...

:bdh: What ever.

The point is there is a difference in the height of a 37" tall tire depending on the manufacturer.

Richard

No beating dead horses here...just trying help answer a question with real world experience and facts instead of reiterating what I saw on a manufacturer's web site.

If the truth be known...tire manufacturer's are allowed by law a 6% variance from their actual claimed size stated on the tire, thus making it possible for a "true" 35" tire to be advertised as a 37...

With a 37" tire no matter what brand - section width, tread width, rim width and offset will play a much larger role on whether the tire will fit on a Dodge truck or not.

Just my .02 cents...with a few facts;)
