Most likely not... I'm pretty sure its pretty close on a leveled truck but I could be wrong.

Ok so it'll fit in the wheel well but I wouldn't say its functional. If you just want it for looks sure. But 35s rubbed on my 04's control arms but mine isn't just a grocery getter so I guess that all comes into play. 35s fit just right with new wheels with right offset but I'm sure if I put 37's on and went hunting one day with it I'd not be to happy with them. I'm not ok with the tires rubbing at full lock when I go up the drive way but hey to each is his own! Just my .02

If you did a set of high clearance control arms at stock height they would fit pretty well. I have 37's with 3" of lift but stock bump stop travel so my tires still stuff into the fender well past stock ride height with no issues, im running stock wheels.

Longer, higher clearance control arms.
how do longer control arms prevent rubbing the back of the wheel well? :confused013:

Wheel offset also plays a huge part in tire rub, If your rubbing the back of the fender with 33's then you running a low offset wheel.

It pushes the axle forward away from the fender.
How much does that rotate the axle?

Do you have to lengthen the front drive shaft?

What does it do to your shock & spring mounts..... angling them like that?

If the control arms are proper length the axle should not really rotate, caster should still be within spec
The longer control arms re-center the axle in the wheel wheel putting your springs closer to there stock position when lifting/leveling
Depending on the amount of lift the slip joint takes up the difference in length on the front driveshaft, the higher you go lifts will often include a driveshaft spacer or have you clock the t case I believe. Some choose to lengthen their driveshafts to reduce U joint angle

Lifting/leveling with stock control arms and track bar pulls the axle backwards and to the drivers side of the truck

Search "stock with big meats"
Plenty of pictures of guys running 35s and 37s on stock suspension
Since the rubbing is usually from width, a 37x12.5 on a factory wheel rubs just about as much as a 35x12.5 on a factory wheel

But we are talking about STOCK to begin with, in this entire thread :banghead:

Then somebody isnt paying attention and just throws out there "use longer arms" and now all of the sudden we are talking about lifted trucks and moving the axle forward

Someone suggested high clearance control arms without any lift to push the axle forward to give more room in the back of the fender as well as give more room between the side of the tire and control arm 0. I'm sure most would rather trim the front plastic then the pinch weld.
Longer control arm without lift wouldn't really be any different then running a leveling kit with stock control arms

Caster should still be able to be adjusted within spec, the slip joint will take up the difference in length moving the axle forward and the angle of the spring/shock would be reversed from a level with stock control arms.

I run 35x12.50 nitto mud grapplers on a leveled 06 MegaCab and they rub when I turn too hard.
