I had them in a 35x12.5r20 on my f350. They were a good tire, good traction and looked great but I found them to wear out kinda quick. But that's a mud tire on pavement....so take it for what's it worth. I really didn't see much more mileage out of the Nittos.
So if you're not too concerned about mileage.. I would have nothing bad to say about them at all. They are super aggressive tread design yet are quiet on the highway.
Like any M/T tire they will get louder as they wear but nothing crazy like the old style mudders. You may have to turn up your radio a little on the highway when they are about shot.
The Toyo Open Country m/t were super similar to the Nitto Trail Grappler IMO.
I have the Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/70R18 on my truck right now they ride awesome. These trucks are so quiet as it is. I don't hear any whine. I have 9k so far and have minimal wear.
I really like the look of that Nitto Trail Grappler and they look great on your truck!
