Has anyone tried to use the servo from a garrett turbo from a pstroke to operate a 07 cummins 351vgt turbo on my 12 valve. Ok well here is a little background im putting a 97 12 valve in my 03 f-250 pstroke. i would like to use a 351vgt i think it would be good to get me around 500hp. Does anyone know the dimesions of the 351vgt? Is there another way to control the vgt?

500 on a 351 is gonna be HOT i doubt it will even make that much. A 451 made 400hp so gettin a 351 to make 500 is hard to believe.

Most people use waste gate actuators to control the vgt.

What Powerstroke, what Garrett turbocharger?

2003-2007 6.0L Powerstrokes have a Garrett VGT turbo, but the turbos variable guide vanes are actuaded by HPO (high pressure oil) from the HPOP (high pressure oil pump). Ask me how I know.

2008-2010 6.4L Powerstrokes have dual sequential Borg Warner turbos. One is a VGT turbo which is electronically controlled/actuated and the other turbo is a fixed vain turbo.

haha an he351 will make 500hp, seen it many many times..mostly on third gens but I've seen a few 12v's put down 450+some on the 351. It is hot though.

Ok thanks guys i wasnt sure how my 03 vgt turbo worked on my pstroke. maybe i will try to get my hands on a 451vgt for the cummins and control it with a waste gate. I think that it would be a sweet set up if i can get it to work right. It would be like having twins without the expense.
