ok I want the 3'' lift and level on my 2011 ctd and im wondering what my options are. I want to run bmf 20x9 or 20x10 with 35's and I want the ride quality to improve also. I really want a softer smoother ride I don't tow that much only about a 10k pound boat on the weekends of summer. these Arkansas roads kill my back!! Ok so are my only options carli or thuren? ive been looking into the commuter 2.0 from carli just wondering what other options I have. also I don't do much off roading the truck stays on the pavement 90% of the time.... thanks

Ihave ridden in trucks with thuren suspension and the difference is very noticeable verse the same truck using a spacer style cheap lift . If you already have back issues stay away from 20 s or spend the money on a nice lift . Don thuren gets my vote excellent guy, excellent product. However you can't go wrong with Carli

If you're set on a 20" wheel on a 35" tire, then the commuter is a good choice as it's a bit more forgiving to the larger wheels. Stay away from the Nitto Trail grapplers in the 35/20 combo, though! That's a very difficult combo to tame.

What would you suggest would be a good combination then?

17s or 18s with a 35 or 37" tire are the ticket. I had Nitto Grapplers and now have Toyos, both are good to go

I ran 20's with 33's on my 1500 I ran the autturo's and toyo both seems like they rode fairly well considering they were mud tires. I know the 20'' rim doesn't help the ride but Ive had 18's in the past and to me the 20's really didn't effect it to bad. but yes ive decided not to cheap out on the lift I will be getting a full suspension lift instead of blocks. thanks for all the input

Everything is included. If you already have a Carli level, please call us before ordering, some components will swap over, and save you money.
Thanks for the quick response and for not making me look dumb lol. No I don't have the level yet the wording on the website just confused me bc it said the kit was for a 3'' lifted 2500. I wasn't on the carli site I guess I should've went there before asking. buying the level kit isn't a big deal but it will take a few weeks to spring the commuter kit.. just deleted and got a custom tune gotta space out my mods from the wife. She is still upset over my 5k I spent on the engine of my 2011 ss Camaro....... wont be happy about the almost 2k ive already spent on this truck plus looking at a 2k suspension lol......:buttkick:

Was it our site that was confusing? I'll have someone look at the descriptions, I thought they were the same as the Carli site.
sorry no it wasn't your site. looks like your site is worded the same as carli. I forget what I site I was on last night when I read it the wording just threw me off b/c it said it was for a 3'' lifted truck not it lifts the truck 3''. your site is a lot better than a lot I have looked at!!

when installing this lift if it a shop only type of job or can someone easily do it at home? I have leveled my 1500 with blocks on the front and back before in the driveway but this looks a lot more complicated

If you have jack stands, a jack, and tools, you can tackle it. I've installed 6" Carli kits in a driveway. We answer the phone on weekends and at night for our customers to answer any install questions you may have, you'll be fine.

Everything is included for the basic system although there are options available as well as other items you might want to consider. Since you are planning on running aftermarket wheels and 35's I would suggest doing the control arms as well to avoid rubbing. We generally have the kits in stock and shipping to AR is about 3 days.

here is a question for each company. On each one of yalls site yall show one of your packages and how it rides on the street and offroad for instance the stage 1 on pure performance says its a 7 street and a 7 offroad if i remember right. If that setup is a 7/7 what do yall rate the stock suspension? 5/5 0/0 just wondering so i can kinda see how much further each system is over stock. thanks

The way I took it on carlis website was stock ride was zero. But it's really just a scale of 1 to 10 as nothing rides 10 times better. These trucks aren't going to ride like caddy so don't expect that. Improvement in ride should be seen over bumps where the feeling would normally be way to fast turning into a smooth controlled sense.

I would also put more emphasis on what someone like rhino or ocvelo says over a dorky numbering system. They have ridden in them all so if they know what your looking for ride wise and how you normally drive the truck then they will set you up well.
