Has anyone else been running the swap in cold climates? I did mine this summer and now that winter is rolling around I'm noticing the engine is having trouble holding temp. At regular cruising speed coolant temp is only getting up to 185~ which isn't terrible, but it's also only -10 right now. I'm just concerned about what's going to be happening once it's -40/50.

I have a grill blanket on order, anything else I can do to try and retain heat?

Stuff a piece of cardboard between the rad and the intercooler, with a hole in it in line with the fan clutch to keep it cool. Still lets the intercooler do it's thing, but retains heat in the engine. Works like a charm.

That winter grill cover should be sufficient in helping that retain heat. I lived in alaska for 5 years and didn't do anything but that cover and it was between-40 or worse outside.
