My blower compartment on my 02 2500 cummins recently had a small fire due to a mouse nest near my resistor. I now have a melted hole in my blower compartment. I have an old 2nd gen 1500 v8. Does anyone know if the blower motors/compartments would be the same? Thank you.

A dealership website will still show you the OEM part number for the 2002.
(just barely... my 2000 dropped off this year... rats).
web search for Mopar OEM Parts and several will appear.
See if the part is still available and if so, how much it is.
If you still want to swap with the 1994, check the 1994 VIN against the 2002 part number.
Most dealership sites will check the VIN against the part number.
I don't have time to do this for you.

go to www.car-part.com to find used parts. You can also use it as a reverse hollanders to see which year parts will fit your rig. Then you may find what you need locally cheaper.

You would need components from a 99-01 truck. They changed the HVAC parts in 98.

98.5(new interior) to 01 should work from 1500, and to 02 from 25 or 3500. Some jeeps and others may even fit.
Look up on Car-pat.com.

How about a bucks worth the duck tape.
