Anybody heard or done this...IS it possible for one thing then is it worth the effort........My thinking is that the headbolts may not line up.

The head bolts will line up. The head gasket has to be modded. Also the pistons have to be swapped as well. And if you want a VE pump'ed 24v you'll have to bend up your own custom lines.

im picking up a wreck 2001

i plan on doing a 24v head on my 89, along with the intercooler and radiator out of the 2001.
i dont know if im going to do a p-pump or stick with the ve . . .
