Congrats again to @the man in black as the April FOOLS challenge, turns out we all knew who the most foolish one on here was the whole time

This month is May, as such let's see you MAY the CUMMINS be with you, the contest this month is for Cummins Swapped vehicles. Show us the beginning and current status of your Cummins Swap. Let's see the hard work you've done on your truck to get the best diesel engine into it, 5 pictures MAX will be enforced this month. You can link to your build thread if you would like

We do have some basic rules:
  • Members MUST have at least 20 posts
  • Unless otherwise stated you may submit up to 5 photos
  • Voting will take place the last week of the month
  • Feel free to PM me with ideas for future themes
Winners will receive:
  • One year of premium membership (no ads, focused browsing mode, and more)
  • A profile badge to show off your winner status
  • A place in the CumminsForum.com winner's gallery
  • Their winning photo featured on the homepage until the next contest starts

I'd say 1 entry per person, but the single entry can include multiple trucks (5 picture max per entry)

Conversion does not need to be driveable, but a Cummins motor should be installed in at least 1 picture (even if just for fitment, but not final installation )

@Antonm If you ever were to sell that excursion, i've got a buddy that would cream himself at the opportunity Up until cost comes up, because it's crazy how valuable those have become. He's been talking about how he wants one for the last year or two now but it's impossible to find within his budget. Gotta love a good swap though, especially when they turn out that clean

@jason867 I kinda want to just declare you the winner based off how ultimately 80s that first picture is, but the ROTM is one of the things that we let democracy decide, good luck man!

A little more information about it can be found in the introduction I just made.

The Bus

The quick rundown of The Bus.

A 1971 Dodge W300 Power Wagon School Bus that was used in the mountains of Colorado to get children to school in the winter and later continued it's rugged mountain life as an elk hunting vehicle.

I bought it as a shell sitting in a field and have completely restored the exterior(new paint, lights, ect.) and swapped in new axles, a 12v Cummins, and a new manual transmission.

It is now running and driving, but does still need some finishing touches (wire management, finish rebuilding the firewall, and get the hood on)

I am currently renovating the interior to make the most badass and rugged 4wd home on wheels you've ever seen.

Since the real prize is the year of premium, that will go to @jason867, however both of your will recieve the coveted ROTM23 banner on your account to show that deep down, your both winners in my book! Especially since you both tried to concede to the other. Now that's good sportsmanship Thankfully i was busy and you both replied before i could announce the winner

I'll post up next months challenge tomorrow, should be a fun one as well. But i'm glad we got to spotlight the cummins swaps for May, a lot of work went into these trucks, so it's good to see such a close race
