i read a report that the 2500s have already been approved and just the 3500s are waiting for the shut down to end. i also read in that same report that FCA wasn't anticipating for it to be a delay. The 19's are supposed to hit the dealership in March and it doesn't sound like the approval process will take very long at this point. So i guess we have at least 1.5 month buffer for the gov to open.

The President could offer amnesty tomorrow for 10M of the illegals that are "cowering in the shadows" in exchange for the Wall, and the leftist D's would still not give the funding for the wall ($57 out of a $40,000 budget when you remove the zero's) because they'd lose the next generation of potential voters, similarly to how LBJ bought the black vote for the Dems back in the 60's because he passed the Civil Rights Act although he was the biggest racist of a President we ever had, almost more than Woodrow Wilson...

100% correct. Part of the wall was built under obummer. Schumer has supported the wall multiple times in the past. The only issue here is now Trump wants the wall so the wall has become a symbol of evil to democrats. I think they assume folks aren’t smart enough to look up their prior voting history. It’s a dog and pony show at this point. Democrats are just pushing a anti trump agenda. Doesn’t matter what the issue is if trump supports it they will denounce it.

I have an idea democrats should propose a “fence” instead of a “wall” they can claim credit for border security and we can move on.
