Finished up my swap on Saturday and grounded out pin 4 on my trans connector like I had read in other forums to get it to start. Truck started and ran fine had check engine lights of course considering the truck still thought it was an automatic. Finally got my manual tunes from ez Lynk drove it 35 minutes to work no problems just didn’t have full throttle since the truck thought it was still in park and was going to install the tunes and finish modifying my center console to work with the shifter I now have in the floor. I installed the OEM G56 flash first then installed my SOTF tunes. PRND went away on the dash and “Push Clutch and Button to Start” appeared like it’s supposed to be. Plugged my clutch interlock switch in and tried to start nothing happed. Dash comes on and as soon as I push the button the dash lights go off like your turning the ignition back off. I figured it wasn’t registering the clutch switch and wasn’t allowing the truck to send power to the starter. Tried bypassing the switch and several other various things to try to get it to work but nothing. Put the truck in neutral with the parking brake on and turning the ignition on and manually put power to the starter with a power probe and the truck fired right up. Drove it down the road to see if it ran right after the tunes and it runs perfectly fine no throttle lag, didn’t die, or miss or any funny stuff. Pulled back into work shut it off with the ignition button and it shut it off. I started reading a thread last night where someone was having the same problem but like a lot of forums they went dark. Was hoping someone has had the same problem and possibly knew the fix for it. Thanks in advance.
