I have a 2015 2500 with air ride. No load on it yet, but I'm picking up a pallet of wood pellets next week (2,000 lbs). I'll post some pics.

I can tell you the ride is outstanding and I don't think the price is out of line for a factory set up.

I'm getting it on my new truck, can hardly wait to try it out!

As to being pricey, well maybe at list price, but nobody pays list. And when you figure it in over the long run, it really isn't much for what you get.

Air ride systems have been around for many years and are dead nuts reliable!

As to the price, I installed a 4 link on my F450 with the control system and a set of bags for the front it was $8,000.00. the option from the factory is only $1,250... Only thing I do not know is if it will kneel or has that option to kneel.

As to the comment leaving you stranded? not sure I understand how it would the truck is completely drivable even if the bags are fully deflated.

My KW's all had Air ride suspensions millions of miles without failure. The F450 I put 100,000 on the Kelderman unit with only a simple issue the Air dryer purge valve failed but the system worked fine.

I agree 100%, the only question I have is the position of the Bag TDC on axle with no cam arms or off set Bags like the KWs have, The only questionable area is the compressor life and bag location for body roll.

I have the four point Air on My 2014 1500 Ram no problems the Ride is awesome with the 4-point air.

I would change my order to get the rear air.

I had 50,000 miles on a Kelderman 4 link setup on my 05. This is the system that the 2014 and on factory system is modeled on. Great ride and no mechanical issues other than what was self inflicted. I popped a bag because a bracket was rubbing on it, a ten minute mod with the plasma cutter and a new bag and back in business. Similar to changing a tire. Hardest part was ordering a new bag, and even that was fairly easy through Kelderman, had it within a week. I could've driven it around that way but chose not to.

I did tow my 13k lb toy hauler home with one bag out. Down Cajon Pass, a 6% grade for miles... The ride was less than pleasant, but I never felt out of control. There is a rubber bump stop built into the bag so you can limp home.

I think you're going to miss out on a really slick suspension setup.

The Bag design is a rolling lobe type, the Idea of TDC mounting allow for a softer bag which equals a softer ride. Levering them allows for a stiffer bag for weight carrying capability. Look at the design a Road tractor is designed to carry a full load 90-95% of the time, our little trucks are designed to carry a full load 20% of the time the reminder is light to no load.

Why do you say that? So the cab and chassis trucks do not have this option as most who buy them work them hard? If so maybe you should inform Ram that they need to change there slogan from Ram guts-glory to Ram Heavy-Sometime. :stirpot: :spank:

i agree it has been around a long time,....Dodge is new to the game so i see things going wrong down the road once it is out of warranty and i suspect it will not be cheap to fix, in the southern states i see it lasting but up north in the snow and salt i just don't see it,......this is just my $0.02

i'll stick with the coil overs and add the firestone bags for when i tow

again, this is just my opinion

Good comments.

I've ordered one. My biggest concern is I use the truck off road a good part of the time.

Interested to see how durable and reliable the RASS is. I'll give it a real work out. . .

Ordered 11/25.
Do you know if the truck is built and shipped yet?
I suspect it is not. I ordered mine 11/5 and it is not even being built until 1/9. I'm looking at Feb before it arrives.

You can call 800-992-1997 with your VIN or VON and get some more detailed into on the status.

More bad news...the plant in MX shuts down tomorrow for 2 weeks.
