Hey everyone - time for us to start planning where to hold training classes again for next year. We already have a few places we know we're going to try and have classes - but want to hear from you as you drive where we try to focus our efforts on putting a class together.

Next years training book / class will be updated to include additional information that has not been included in the materials up to this point because it either wasn't released or was new enough to the EFILive software and process that we couldn't get it included into this years training book, even though it did receive 2 separate revisions during the year - There's just been a lot of new things added and no time to incorporate them PROPERLY into the materials.

Anyhow - I'm posting this up on a couple forums and our Facebook page so I can hear WHERE people want....

Please keep in mind when placing your vote, that wherever you suggest for a class needs to have an on site dyno and a space big enough for about 20 people to sit comfortably with their computers and follow along through the class. So when you make your suggestion, please also mention a shop or a contact name of a facility that you feel would meet these requirements along with any additional contact info you have for them.

Thanks guys! Look forward to hearing from you!

-->Zach

Again doesn't seem to be much input on where to have the classes.... Right now looking at Texas and Ohio and possibly Indiana as the only 2 places that seem to have any interest....

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE if you have interest in EFILive training classes to let me know where you'd like to see them!!

We've had a few already in Ohio, but there's a lot of interest again so I very well may be returning there early next year instead of mid year. Working out the details on the classes now. Not sure on dates, could be as early as February for Ohio and then Indiana later in the year... Lot's of events and things to schedule around once we get a ways into Spring so trying to make sure I don't have people that have to choose class or event as well... but we're actively working on our schedule and locations.

I've tried dealing with coming to Canada - and they make such a big deal as soon as they see a laptop that I don't think I'm gonna try and go back anytime soon. Spent 3 hours on the border driving up for a race a few years back while they tore my car apart and grilled me about "my business" and all - that, well ya - Probably not going to be coming up there for any classes. It's stressful enough doing classes in the states and travelling hoping that all my stuff makes it to the classes - it'd be a nightmare crossing the border even I'm flying in. I hear the airports are even worse.

Either way, I doubt i'll be up there - the best I can do is get a couple per year up close to the border for you guys.

That being said, Wisconsin is just 2 days away from class time!!

That sucks that they give you such a hard time. They probably think this Yankee is here to steal our wifi. I wouldn't bother trying either if the border made it that hard for me. Thanks anyway.

Zach's class in Ohio is as close as you are going to get to Ontario this year Cummins Crazy. Not that far to go.

You'll have to smuggle me across the border. I'll pay for the gas and Timbits though.

Any plans to come to buffalo or or somewhere in Michigan this year Zach?

Hey guys and gals, I just took the class with Zach, it was very informative. Packed a lot of info in for only two days. The best part is getting a book that outlines even more than what's covered in the class, it's great to have something to go back and reference. If your serious about getting involved with efi live then it's well worth the money. It's one of the few, and cheapest classes I've seen offered.

The class in Texas at Hamilton Cams has been cancelled due to Hamilton moving their research facility (sold the building to move to a new building). We will not be able to hold class there in April, but will be looking to hold a class somewhere towards central Texas this fall. We tried to make it work out but with the schedule they have to keep to get things moved and relocating the dyno, etc - the class is not able to happen at this time. We look forward to returning to Hamilton's place or somewhere else in the general area this fall!
