How do I know if my batteries are hooked up parallel? I want to hook up a maintainer as I do not drive it daily and it has been sitting for a couple of weeks at a time and I received a power warning twice. If I drive it every day that does not happen.

They are in parallel. If they were in series you’d have 24V.

Is this what you were asking?

Your hooked up in parallel, 12v. The crossover cable running between the batteries, near the top of the firewall, goes from one positive terminal to the other positive terminal.

Have your batteries load tested (auto parts shop usually does it for free). One or both of your batteries might be failing.
Until then, if you put your battery maintainer on just one battery, both will get maintained. Don't overthink it.
