I have this truck with 81000 miles on it. Lately the turbo performance has been erratic. I pull a 16000 lb fifth wheel and this last trip the boost was really erratic. On one hill it was 36psi and pulled great. Then on another hill it maxed out at 20psi and struggled. The exhaust breaking is working good all the time. It has been throwing codes for a while now. P2262 and P226C. Does this sound like a failing turbo actuator? What is the opinion of City Diesel actuator? It looks and sounds pretty impressive. Thanks for any info and opinions. Bill

The City Diesel Billet Actuator is fantastic. Unfortunately, it won't work for you. P226C means the turbo needs to be replaced. P2262 means turbo failure as well. It usually comes up on 2007.5-2012 trucks and 2013+ trucks show P226C. Either way, an actuator replacement without a new turbo assembly will be a waste of money. The veins get caked with soot and can't slide to their desired position. The actuator will eventually fail as well. We have several drop in turbo options with or without the City Diesel Billet Actuator, shoot me a PM or email if you have any questions.
